Internship

The following plan is for an intern program in affiliation with KCBAA.  This plan is to provide students inside (and outside) the Higher-Ed system opportunities for enrichment, education, and service in and to the aviation-business community.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I am writing to seek interest in the creation of a consortium of corporations to sponsor an internship program for students and other interested parties; to learn the aviation management business, and to promote visibility of the business aviation world.

The pretext of this request is my current education in Business Management at the University of Missouri-Columbia and my interest and involvement in aviation as a pilot and flight instructor.

I would like to be involved with the responsibilities in the management, finances, or operations in a corporate flight atmosphere.  This interest is shared by others in the higher education system, and as aviation (especially business aviation) grows to a new strength, an intern program such as this would provide students and other interested candidates a chance to see firsthand “what works” and gain experience in the industry.

With the creation of a position for an intern in your flight department, you will experience:

  • Service from excited and enthused young adults
  • Return to the community a knowledge and interest in aviation enterprises
The specifics of this program are too extensive to be cited in this letter, but I would be glad to discuss these with you at your convenience.  Please contact me at the locations above if you are interested in hearing more about this proposal.

I sincerely appreciate your time and hope to work with your team in the near future to build a new connection between business, education, and service.

Very respectfully,

Frank Eaton
